At the request of ADoCeS, which is the promoter, and Anci Veneto, the "Bimbo Dona, Papà Dona" project is illustrated, which aims to promote the solidarity donations of stem cells from cord blood, peripheral blood and bone marrow.
The project is financed by the Veneto Region, with the patronage of the Ministry of Health, and is aimed at couples expecting a child to invite them to donate cord blood at all the Birth Points connected to the three storage banks operating in the Region. "Baby gives, daddy gives" is aimed at new dads under the age of 36 who have chosen to donate their baby's cord blood together with their mom and represents a response to the great urgency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has put a lot of the donation and transplantation network is in crisis.
