The Milan Cortina 2026 candidacy dossier
The Milan Cortina 2026 candidacy takes its steps from the IOC 2020 Agenda and from the New Norm, the 2018 reform that makes the Olympic and Paralympic Games a more sustainable, flexible and efficient event, both from an operational and financial point of view, freeing up at the same time, more value for host cities over the long term.
Two cities, Milan and Cortina, with the support of the regions - Lombardy and Veneto - and the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano / Bozen, join forces to create a memorable edition of the Games, aimed at fostering greater cooperation in the field of the entire Alpine macro-region.
