The Library boasts a bibliographic heritage of about 27,000 volumes and about twenty periodicals by subscription. It is aimed at the residents of the Municipality, the numerous tourists who frequent the valley and all citizens interested in books and culture. It offers a rich and updated section of local history and culture and an equally varied choice of mountain books, as well as the main and most interesting editorial novelties of fiction and non-fiction.
Every citizen who requests it gets a free card in his name, which enables him to freely use the services of the library. The card, marked with an order number, is personal. To anyone under the age of eighteen, it is issued with the authorization of a parent or guardian. For children under the age of ten, access to the Library, for the first time, is allowed upon accompaniment of a parent. Only those in possession of the card can use the loan service. All bibliographic material, with the exception of reference works, newspapers and magazines, is available not only for free and free consultation on site, but also for reading at home, limited in time. The loan cannot exceed thirty days, renewable in the event of lack of requests from other users.
