<p>The art. 927 of the Civil Code provides that anyone who finds an object must return it to the owner or hand it over to the Mayor of the Municipality where he found it, indicating the circumstances of the discovery.</p>
Anyone who has lost an object can check if what he has lost has been found and delivered to the Economato Office of the Municipality of Cortina d'Ampezzo. If the owner does not show up to pick up the lost and found object within one year from the last day of publication on the online Albo Pretorio, whoever handed the object becomes the owner in turn.
