MLOL is the first and main Italian digital library, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Through the MLOL portal, it will be possible to borrow ebooks from major Italian publishers, consult 6000, including newspapers and magazines from all over the world. and access thousands of other digital assets.
To be enrolled in the new service, the user can request credentials from their library. Once you have received your username and password, it will be sufficient to have an Internet connection to access the site and start consulting the available resources, from any place and from any device (PC, tablet, smartphone, e-reader).
The new digital lending service enhances the role of the library as a tool for social inclusion and a bridge for approaching knowledge. It is accessible to all, without time limitations and physical barriers. In fact, it will be possible to consult resources in many languages, to use the selected texts in facilitated reading, to meet the needs of users with visual or hearing impairments, the elderly or people with dyslexia or cognitive deficits.
The digital loan can also be a valuable resource for our schools, thanks to the wealth of educational materials accessible from the platform and to interesting databases made available free of charge, which can enrich the educational offer and become useful research tools. Some examples among all: the historical archive of Corriere della Sera and the Macaulay Library, the first and largest scientific archive in the world of audio and video recordings on biodiversity.
All information on this new service is available at the Cortina d'Ampezzo Library and on the Belluno Libraries portal at the address: https://bibel.regione.veneto.it/SebinaOpac/.do
