The chapel was built in 1953 by the Milanese architect Michele Morelli. The interior has a small apse frescoed by Italo Squitieri from Cortina which represents the Glorification of the Virgin between two wings of angels against a backdrop of a bright Dolomite landscape, perhaps the same that can be admired from here when turning towards the Falzarego pass.
