Leaving your vehicle in the parking lot located 50 m after Lake Pianozes, take the Jeep Service on the right up to Ponte di Federa, right at the height of the wooden sign indicating the Gores di Federa path. From here you enter the uncontaminated forest of Federa, between gentle climbs, gentle descents, skirting waterfalls, gorges and streams of water, crossing five suspension bridges over the Ru Federa. After about an hour of walking you will arrive at Malga Federa, a point from which an exceptional panorama opens up: Becco di Mezzodì on one side, Pomagagnon, Cristallo and Faloria on the other. You can then go back along the same itinerary, or by taking a loop that takes about half an hour to reach the starting point again along the asphalted road. The more trained, on the other hand, can continue to the Croda da Lago Refuge. The route is simple and suitable for everyone, all you need is shoes suitable for hiking in the Dolomites. During the low season, when the road is open, it is possible to reach the starting point of the path (starting point that hosts about ten parking spaces) with your own vehicle.
